Hello! My name is Sarah Trader and I’m so happy you stopped by to visit!

I started this blog in 2010 as a way to chronicle my life and capture family memories, funny work stories and just my overall outlook on life. It’s been a fun creative outlet for me and hopefully an enjoyable place for you to stop and visit.

Who/what is Team Trader? It started out as the name of my woman’s volleyball team. Since then, it has come to mean so much more and is really symbolic of my family life too.

Now for a little bit more about me.

I am married to my amazing husband CJ, who is a stay at home dad.

We are blessed that I make enough money to allow him to be at home taking care of our beautiful daughters, Isabella and Cora. He also wrangles in our yellow Labrador, Samson. You can learn more about my family here.

I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska and have lived here most of my 34 years. I did move away to go to college in Cedar Rapids, IA (go Kohawks!) and then spent close to a year in New York City. Living in NYC was an amazing experience that really molded who I am. I learned a lot about life, being independent, various cultures, and the big city. Eventually I moved back to Omaha because my family is all here and I wanted to be close to them.

I’m busy and my life is full of adventure. So come along for the ride and enjoy!
